Join us as we resume our screenings with Louda Ben Salah-Cazanas’ THE WORLD AFTER US (Le monde après nous; 2021), a drama about a young writer in love and in debt. ‘Tis the season of love (and ‘sapa’) and Labidi – with his heart and account balance in disagreement – is all of us.
This screening is organised in the framework of the ongoing My French Film Festival (watch online until February 13).
Event details: 5.00pm | Alliance Française Lagos, 9 Osborne Road, Ikoyi | Free Entry.

Labidi is a struggling young writer who, after a small hit with a short story, is trying to publish his first novel. While he lives in a small room with his roommate and best friend Aleksei, delivering food on his bike to survive, he meets Elisa, a student. Caught up in a whirlwind romance, he doesn’t always make the right choices. Labidi will soon be confronted with the realities of everyday life, at the expense of his writing.
