After graduating from the University of Texas at Arlington, he immediately enrolled at the Theresa Bell Acting Studio where he studied acting for the screen with focus on character and scene breakdown. While producing and performing in films with friends in Canada, writing and directing followed naturally. A Berlinale Talent Alumnus, Udoka’s films have gathered nominations in numerous award
platforms and have screened both internationally and at local film festivals including Int’l Film Festival Rotterdam, European Independent Film Festival, Durban Int’l Film Festival, New York African Film Festival and much more. Udoka is hard bent on creating African films and characters of international standards and is steadily striving to push the industry to the global stage.
